How skincare became a daily habit
I lived in Hawaii for about ten years and loved spending time outdoors. After coming back to Japan, I made Lotion, Serum and Cream part of my everyday life.
Now, skincare after a shower is a daily habit.
Through ululaü, I want to give people who are new to skincare a little time to care for their skin.

Our co-founder Maico has worked closely with people’s skin for many years.
What she learned is that keeping up a daily routine matters more than anything special.
Together with Yuki, she turned that idea into three bottles: Condition, Replenish, Protect.
FINDING THE PRODUCTS
The story behind our skincare
The products we offer at ululaü were made by a partner we first met in Hawaii and met again in Tokyo. We decided to share them under our own brand.
We respect where they come from, and explain what each product does and how to use it in our own words.

What our name means
The brand began with a meeting in Hawaii.
ULU
From the Hawaiian sense of “growth” and “abundance”. Like a daily routine that grows a little at a time.
LAU
“Leaf” in Hawaiian, bringing to mind nature, life and freshness. It stands for natural, relaxed beauty.
Ü (YOU)
= you. Our own symbol for “you”. Caring for your own skin, whatever your age, gender or skin type.
The sound in Japanese
The sound “u-lu-la-u” also echoes the Japanese words uruou (to be moisturized) and uruwashii (beautiful).
